Doug Skinner has written music for theater and dance, most conspicuously for Bill Irwin's "The Regard of Flight." He has contributed to many magazines ("Fortean Times," "Weirdo," "Nickelodeon," Cabinet"). His latest book is "Shorten the Classics," from Black Scat Books, who also publish his translations of Alphonse Allais. Nowadays, he hides out in New Paltz.
